What a PEP account can do for you


With a PEP account card, there are more ways to shop, swipe & save. In addition, use any of these store cards to shop at any PEP store:

  • Tekkie Town

PEP accounts offer you safe, secure payments that’ll make your shopping experience quick and easy!

How to apply


Applying for a PEP account is simple! You can apply instore or online here. All you need to complete your application is:


  • Your ID
  • Latest 3 months’ payslips or latest 3 months’ bank statements. (Applicable if you are Permanent, On Contract, Self-Employed, Domestic or a Pensioner).

How to pay for and manage your PEP account


You can manage your PEP account using any of our self-servicing channels:


  • WhatsApp – Say “HI” to us on 060 070 2320 to view your balance and instalment, or apply for a credit limit increase.
  • USSD - Dial *120*3012# to check your balance and instalment, or apply for a credit limit increase (Network rates apply).
  • Voice prompts - Dial 0860 900 500, select the PEP account card option and follow the voice prompts. Remember to have your card and ID number ready.

This is how you can pay for your PEP account:


  1. Pay at any PEP, Refinery, Ackermans, Shoe City, Tekkie Town, or Dunns store.
  2. Pay using internet banking or your mobile banking app by finding Tenacity Financial Services among the list of pre-approved beneficiaries.
  3. Pay by debit order. Simply email pep@tenacityinc.co.za or contact us at 0860 900 500 for assistance.
  4. EFT at a bank branch, enabled ATM or simply doing a cash payment at a cash-accepting ATM.
  5. Do a cash payment at a Flash Trader.
